Menlo Park-based Kana (OTCBB:KANA) had revenue of $12.8 million, compared to $16.7 million in the third quarter of 2008. 


Excluding items, the company's income would have been $1.1 million, or 3 cents a share, compared to $863,000, or 2 cents a share in the year-ago quarter.
